First time since last year, today. Are there always that many dogs and garage sale items? I thought there would be more chickens with people downsizing for winter.

OMG, I need to stop going there, last month I spent almost 100.00, this time I spent OVER 100.00.

We got
a white peahen 50.00
netting for our duck runs 40.00
honey butter 3.00
a silkie hen 5.00------for asylum
leg bands 7.00
quail eggs 5.00
a swan book 12.00
some peaches 3.00
a 5 by 15 by 6 kennel 40.00
a wire cage 5.00
some staples .50
sweet corn 3.00

I almost got a pr of black swans, they wanted 600.00 for them but I didnt have enough cash on me, or they would be out in the barn now.

I didn't see anyone I knew! I looked for you, Ed.....really I did.

I saw the black swans and thought of you. Too bad they were $600. I saw some hairless pups that I REALLY wanted, but they had mange & other stuff. I was good- I didn't buy a thing.

Our first time their and the kids had a great time. I'm sure if we would have brought a trailer it would've been full. Lol Kids wanted bantams for 4H so we ended up getting 4 (roo/hen) matched sets 4 laying EE's and of coarse then we bought a pull behind wagon to haul it. Unloaded to truck a couple times then a horse saddle for oldest daughters 4H horse. Odds and ends stuff. Wow didn't realize I could put so much in an expedition w/4 kids.
Of course then todays chore: Build 4 individual cages in coop for new 4H projects! Oh yeah forgot the 3 baby ducks! Had a good time. Wish I had been on here (BYC) longer so I knew some of ya'll. Maybe next year I will recognize some of ya! Later

Hey Ed... I saw the white peahen you bought! I actually got the male... then thought about it and decided to go back for the female... and you had already snagged her!

Does anyone know the contact info for the couple that makes the chicken coops?
They were at the July swap. They were from Goshen, IN and their last name was Miller.
There are so many Miller's in Goshen, I've got no shot at finding them in the phone book. I really want to get one of their coops!
