Soul Claw couldn't stop her tail from wagging happily. She was pleased with Kiko's praise. Likewise, she was concerned at his word 'battle'.

Emerald's paws twitched as she dreamed of running through the woods, Red at her side. They were... happy. That's all she could tell from the look on his face.

Red decided to lay ajacent to her. He licked her ear and plopped next to her side.
