Buster just continued on and went to see Mokuda

Mokuda knew Comet was lying. He had always been able to tell when someone was lying. He didn't say anything though. After all, Comet was a much higher rank than him, and he didn't want to become a lower rank.

When buster got over to talk to Mokuda they talked about what was wrong with comet

"I can tell he's lying about eating rotten food." he said, "I've always been able to tell when someone's lying."

Comet closed his eyes. His stomach WAS a little upset...but not from bad food. He buried the fish, suddenly not hungry anymore. Maybe if he could figure out why Maud set his mental alarms ringing he could live with her in the pack.

Maud cast one last glance at Comet. The new he-wolf turned up absolutely no where in her mind. She wandered around, checking out the Clan's camp.
