Nira ran to the camp entrance as she saw Storm and Starling come in."Where were you?"She asked,her voice more full of concern than worry as she covered them with rapid licks.

That just made Leaf feel worse.She gulped and looked at her siblings,a worried expression on her face.

Ghost and Onyx shared her same expression.
Raven looked at them confused and asked,"What's wrong?"

Starling moved back to watch as his mother scolded Storm.He doubted she believed her story that they were climbing trees.He never got as in trouble as her because his mother knew he probably didn't go willingly on Storm's adventures and was the one to keep her in line."Is that true Starling?"His mother asked,turning to look at him to confirm Storm's story.Starling nodded,one of his best skills was lying and being very convincing"Yeah,we wanted to see how high we could climb."Starling said"It was harder than we thought and we fell a lot and Storm finally decided it wasn't worth getting more injuries so we decided to come back."He explained.
Nira nodded slowly"Wolves can't climb trees,so please don't try doing it again."She said looking at Storm.Storm sighed"We won't. "
Starling stayed silent as he watched his mother give more lectures on how dangerous it was for pups to be by themselves in the forest and Storm just sitting there pretending to be listening with a blank nod of the head from time to time,obviously daydreaming of what exciting adventures she'd have tomorrow. All I have to be apart of.Starling thought.He frowned when he saw his brother by the pup den,watching the scene with a sly grin. Starling always felt uncomfortable around him but tried to shake the feeling off.I wonder what those other pups are doing...He wondered.

Shadow came back from hunting and set some rabbits he had caught in the fresh kill pile.
