River decided to hunt for the others and went to search for food. After awhile she spotted a rabbit and ran forward. River killed it and dropped it at her paws. She realized the rabbit seemed smaller than usual. It clicked inside her head that she was older and in a few months be a yearling. She wagged her tail in happiness and continued to hunt.

She arrived back to Nira, Jaman, Red, and Jak with two rabbits and a ptarmigan.
