Maud quickly killed a rabbit to eat. Her stomach grumbled. It'd been nearly a week since she'd last eaten a big, full meal. She trotted for a while more, coming across the land where FireClan lived, but was too distracted by her search for food to care.

Mokuda saw Maud. "Who are you?" he growled, "and why are you here?!"

Maud jumped. Her hackles shot straight up when she wheeled and saw the strange wolf, Mokuda. "I..." Her eyes changed for a momemt flashing with...something. Fear? Surprise? Anger? "I'm looking for a pack to join," she said, doing her best to duck submissively.
