Soul Fang felt gratitude toward Kiko; he'd helped Soul Claw and himself bring down that deer. Well-fed, Soul Fang would have no trouble hunting something for Mar. At least, he hoped he wouldn't. He gave Mar another reassuring nuzzle then leaped back onto the log. "Wait here."

He trotted the length of the log, dropped down and disappeared into the forest. He wouldn't have Mar burning more of her energy than she needed to, not until she'd eaten, anyway. "I'll be back," he called.

"Okay." she said. She sat down to wait for him.

Soul Fang trotted along, his nose to the ground. His thoughts were a jumble as he searched. Yes, he was a nervous, submissive wolf, but he knew to be a good provider, he had to adapt.

His mind elsewhere, he nearly didn't react in time when a grouse flushed in front of him. His head snapped up, and he gave chase, seizing it before it flew too high. Pleased, he headed back to where he'd left Mar. This wasn't much, but it was a start.

His mind elsewhere, he nearly didn't react in time when a grouse flushed in front of him. His head snapped up, and he gave chase, seizing it before it flew too high. Pleased, he headed back to where he'd left Mar. This wasn't much, but it was a start.

Fiend had noticed wolves had been exiting Stoneclan territory more and more, she knew if she stayed she would be found, she slunk out of under her tree, she started slowly away from the territory, she was smelling, and listening, silently she slunk away from stoneclan territory, she traveled north, away from Stoneclan, she moved quickly, and hoped to find a suitable place to sleep by nightfall.

"My pleasure," Soul Fang said. He dropped the grouse at Mar's paws. This had been his first attempt at providing for someone else, and he was happy with himself. "It's not much. I'm new at this, and it takes a pack to bring down something worth eating."

Soul Fang suddenly realized that when he was in Grassclan, he could bring down larger prey. Shaking his head, he added, "We'll get you stronger on these birds and such then we'll try tackling something big."

Doe walked up to Pike and the others with a bundle of leaves and roots in her mouth. She put down the bundle and said "Hi I am Shenandoah" Then to Pike " These should stop the infection and ease the pain."
