Lightning howled in pain, then clawed at Snowtuft's ear. Steamfrost helped him.

Kyma, lava, dragon, and Spectrum rubbed their ears, then started nipping and clawing at Spottedfawn.

Time seemed to slow down for Stormdancer. Iceheart's claw was about to hit Thunder's neck, in just the right spot to kill him almost instantly. in a flash, she leapt across Thunder's front, time still kinda in slow motion. Iceheart's claw came closer... closer... and then hit the base of her tail. because she had the mark of achilles, had it hit anywere else she wouldn't have gotten so much as a papercut. but, because she had hit her achilles' spot...
stars swirled before her eyes. she was dead before she even hit the ground.

snowturt flicked the blood from his ears,spottedfawn snarled and leaped dragon.

iceheart looked blankly at stormdancers body han turned to thunder"does this much blood really have to be shed?"

Firebird and Silentpaw's already shimmering forms started to fade. "before you go, remember to tell Thunder that he has to pick a new mate by tonight!" Firebird said after her. she and Silentpaw started to howl a beautiful song, but before Stormdancer could even comprehend what was happening, it was over like a dream.

Dragon let out a little meep of fear. he was only an apprentice, after all. he bravely flapped his wings and reared up on Lava's back.

iceheart looked at thunder.
 
for a moment, Stormdancer didn't remember anything. then, it came back to her. firebird! silentpaw! she gasped audibly. my 9 lives! my curse of achilles! she thought. i'll move my curse of achilles to... the small of my back. she decided quickly. she gently licked the small of her back. her vision blurred. yup it worked! she moved away her tounge, and then faced forward again. "Iceheart." she said, expressionless.
