Despite all of the lies the Game and Fish people will tell you, wolves will attack humans. Meat is meat, and people are not magically and mystically exempt from the laws of nature.
Sadly, we are cursed with some government bureaucrats that care more about hearing a wolf howl than protecting human lives.
In their opinion, if someone must die, so be it. The federal government doesn't give a doolie if we live or die. We are just here to do the work and pay the taxes.
If they would reintroduce the wolf into Kansas or Nebraska, that would put an end to this foolishness. Cattle ranchers would not stand for it.
No, they pick politically weak areas to inflict this scourge upon. Indian reservations and areas with large federal land holdings.
My question, is who will be liable when someone does get taken down by wolves? What are they going to do, give us some more food stamps?
