(silvermist took the rabbits ) silvermist looked around.

she stayed by the rabbits. guarding them

Veri continued to wait, barely moving.

silvermist crouched low, getting in visible.

 

[Aaisha]

soon, silvermist dug out the dead rabbits and ramed herself into the mudpile ich she had dug up, making it fall. she passed it and exited the place from the other side. she turned and looked then calmly troted of.

Jai stalked away. "I didn't even want her gross rabbit anyway, I can catch my own. Blackclan wolves would never stoop so low to take half eaten carcasses from the other clans!"
Quickly, she caught the scent of a deer. Sniffing the air, she was assured that Silvermist wasn't nearby. Jai stalked the deer quietly, sniffing intently. Never would she let another wolf take her prey again! Being the single hunter in Blackclan so far, she needed all the meat she could get. The deer was a doe, munching a tuft of grass. Crouching, Jai took tiny steps until she was close enough to lick the does hind leg. Then, like a spring, she leapt on top of the doe, snapping it's neck with her powerful jaws. It crumpled to the ground. Jai released it from her grip and sniffed the air, being extra cautious. For a second, she thought she could smell another wolf through the blood on her muzzle, but she dismissed it, assuming it was just a wolf from her clan out for a walk. She grabbed the deer by it's neck again and began to drag it slowly to her clan's main base.

 

[Aaisha]

silver mist laughed, hearing her. your clan is next, she thought. she carried on to her clan.

When she was sure they were all gone, Veri crept out from behind the thickets. She had originally hoped to wait long enough to steal the rabbit but now it was gone, Veri trotted away back home empty handed. She could probably catch another rabbit or mouse later.
