Wolud painting inside of coop help?

Would painting the inside of the coop help when time to clean? And help make the wood last longer?

Absolutely, the more gloss shine the more durable, I painted the inside of mine with latex semi gloss white and am very happy with it definitely brightens up the inside.

Watch out when it starts peeling. I had some old wood on my deck from a reno that had chipped paint and I caught one of my chickens eating it. Needless to say, that got cleaned up in a hurry!
