Lila came to a baren, vacant meadow. She hoped for prey, but to her dismay, nothing was there. Lila whipped around when she heard another wolf. Not even acknowledging her greeting she demanded,"Who are you and what do you want?"

A few days before, Rain had met up with another wolf named Sage. They both agreed to join up so prey was easier to find. Rain had to admit, she didn't mind the company and Sage thought the same.

Azure slinked among the long grasses along a riverbank, watching carefully for any sign of prey. She hadn't eaten for some days now, and the effects of hunger were setting in. Whenever she heard movement she dropped into the grass, only to see a bird fly away, a creature she had learnt very early on that was impossible to catch.
