River looked coldly at him. " Why must I say to a wolf who does not like me or will not love me and LISTEN!" She walked away.

Flicking his ears in acknowledgment to Shadow, Faolan felt anger boil up inside him. What had he done to deserve this kind of treatment if it was her fault too? Nothing. A growl rose from deep inside of him, and his ears slowly went back against his ruddy black pelt. "Why must I put up with you not listening to me? Did it ever occur to you that I might have feelings too?" Faolan snarled
