Arrow lay on the outside of the den site, eyes closed and his side going in and out as he breathed. It was a cold day, but his thick winter coat mostly protected him. Plus he had managed to find a sunny patch of ground, which was where he was laying

Nova picked her way through the forest heading back to the den site, with news to tell her mate Arrow. She entered the den site with a small smile and spotted Arrow resting in the sun. She trotted over to him and said,"Arrow, I have some news to tell you."
