A black ear twitched, then again as the paw steps became louder and more distinct. Then two gleaming amber eyes were opened drowsily- and Faolan lifted his head with a small frown of confusion. The expression disappeared when he saw River though, and a small pleasant smile crept up on him. "Hello," Was his greeting to the she wolf

Faith didn't notice Jay's grin, she was too intent of simply getting to the water. It had been many hours since she last drank, and couldn't wait to finally quench the constant steady thirst that had remained with her all the while

Faith began lapping up the icy cold water eagerly, ears pricked and listening for surrounding sounds
