Spiderfang turned to her letting creepingshadow go,he gulped for air. Spiderfang was about to reply when dark came slowly,but menacing, down from his den.spiderfang stepped back dipping her head to dark, even creepingshadow who had just barely recovered did the same."what is it that you want?"dark asked smoothly an unreadable look in his eye.
 
Lark curled her tail respectively, the tip only dipping below her belly for a second. She jerked her head up and down in a small, almost informal bow. "I came here to see how strong you are," she replied. Lark struggled to keep the frantic feeling that rose in her chest hidden. "And I think you're...well off."
 
Lark sniffed disdainfully. Her heartbeat quickened though she did her best to calm herself. "As alpha Dark, I would think you, of all wolves, would know it is most unwise to weaken a member of your own pack in a fight. On purpose."
 
Lark snickered without any humor. "If I may be excused from this madness then, I think I'll go find someone rational." She spun around, making it look like she was about to leave. To bad I would have to risk my own neck to join, Lark thought bitterly. Dark pack could have been my perfect opportunity...I'll find power somehow, though. Any way at all...
 
She glanced over her shoulder. "Simple," she said. She was much calmer now that she was prepared to run. "I thought maybe you would have the right idea...wrongly."
