That is what I’ve been doing. Hopefully it’s just a matter of getting a little older. Thanks. Is the pop door their only way to get in and out during the day? Is it always open during the day? Maybe they don't know there is a world beyond the door. You might try taking the birds outside in the morning and then let them find their way back in. Once they do that, the problem might be solved. Good luck!

Pretty much what I’m doing. I either sho them out the pop door or pick them up and push through it. Did t know I’d have to train them. Great! So they are going back IN through the pop door then, yes? Well, a couple possibilities come to mind then. Wait patiently for them to figure it out .... put a couple of favorite treats just outside the pop door to lure them out (a lettuce leaf or two, for example) ... or go inside, pick them up and stuff them through the door, or shoo them out! Once they discover the pop door leads to the great outdoors from the inside ... well, then you can relax! Let us know how it goes.
I am for this... sometimes they need to be shown how to get out.or go inside, pick them up and stuff them through the door, or shoo them out! Once they discover the pop door leads to the great outdoors from the inside ... well, then you can relax! Let us know how it goes.
