Wonderful Dog breeds..Past and present..

They are really interesting mixes too. And they have super cute names!

My husband says if we ever get a mini/house pig, we're naming it Doggy

Their breed mixtures are a sampling of the common local mutts and favored breeds I think!
We adopted Buddy from the SPCA in Oahu. Lots of Asian type mixes there due to the history of immigration.
Piggy is from Alabama where it's super common for a lot of folks to keep pit mixes. I wouldn't be surprised if she was a litter from a bred dog that escaped from someone's yard since she was exactly half Amstaff and there are a lot of backyard breeders around. It breaks my heart looking at the shelter postings for that area....like 75% of them are pit mixes, and I'm sure few are taken home .

Y'all have some beautiful dogs! I am a huge dog lover....that person that greets the dog before the person...

We have 2, both mutts, our boy from the shelter and a few years later, our girl that my friend found as an older puppy running on the highway out in the country.
We did the DNA testing through Wisdom Panel. Buddy is closer to being a Heinz 57, with a predominant chunk being Korean Jindo, with also a bit of Amstaff and a touch of retriever. Piggy is half Amstaff, with equals parts weimaraner/american bulldog/golden retriever/undetectable mutt.

They are so cute.
Nothing wrong with Mutts.....I love them all...

Yes, we couldn't believe how fast her hair is growing. Darla will need a clip after her rabies shot.

I love border collies, belgian tervurens and any gundogs

I have a 19 week old border collie named poetry and a 4 year old bluetick coonhound named harriet.. I will hopefully be adding another border to my pack this summer to breed my other border with in a couple years

I love sighthounds! I have an Italian greyhound but would love to have a borzoi or a staghound someday
