Hello! Welcome! Its nice to meet you. So so sorry for your losses.

What a wonderful friend we have in Jesus and Chickens Kia ora and hello BackYard Chicken friends, my name is Kirstin, mama and penny were my feather babies. It has been a very rocky pass couple of days grieving over two beautiful creatures that perched quite nicely in my heart. I can now look at the photos with out tears falling and thank the Lord that I had those special moments with them. My 3 cats have also been grieving in their own way by looking for their friends in the now empty pen, but, our fighter Ginga who survived has been getting a lot of attention loves and much needed healing time. I will be traveling up north next week to pick up 3 stunning 1 year old Japanese Bantam's oh my goodness they are just adorable & although they could never replace my very loved Mama & Penny these new feather babies will receive just as much but even more cheese than ever . Here is a photo of Ginga loving her new found indoors life hehe

Kahlulu is my daughter who lost her two feathered babies. I hear the changes in her voice because of healing and the positive vibes we have both received from BYC and now the new focus and work begins .I am sure the new babies will be lovingly embraced. Thank you everyone
