Wondering if guineas will work for me

I wonder if it is the terrain that makes the difference. I am in a very heavily wooded area (Yes Florida still has a lot of woods), which means there are not many fences on my property or the surrounding properties. I do have one pair that will come back to their pen at night to eat and roost since I got the hen to nest in the pen. The other pair will come back to their pen to eat and drink but if I don't catch them and lock them up in time they will take to the trees to roost. The hen in that pair has laid 3 eggs in the pen but she doesn't have a bond with that nest yet.

cgmccary-- Are they self sufficant then? We have 4 in the brooder and I won't have a problem with them roaming (nor would my neighbors) as long as they can manage not to be eaten or hit by a car.
