This silkie is about 12 weeks old. I am fairly sure it is a pullet. She has no comb or any development and has 5 toes. I am wondering if you can tell what kind of quality she is. You can tell the truth.. I can handle it.

She looks great, the only thing I can think of is that the foot feathering isnt perfect...
Other than that it looks great!!

i just hatched 3 bantams in the last few hours. i can't wait to see how they fluff out in the next few weeks! (they are my first!)

she is beautiful! that last pic just screams 'LOOK AT ME!!! Ain't i just cute!'

she is a doll....she looks like my silkie "Dharma" (yes I have a hen and a roo named Dharma and Greg)

It is a pullet. Her leg and foot feathering are lacking, but other than that she does look good. Breed her to a nice male with heavy foot feathering (preferably non bearded) and you should get some very nice offspring.

Thank you!
I did notice the foot feathering was a bit lacking. I got her from a local small feed store. I thought that they probably got her from a hatchery, but I didn't ask them at the time. The last time I went in there they said that they get some of their chicks from local breeders. That is why I wondering her quality. She is a very sweet bird that loves her food. Her favs are cheese and corn, she will pick out all the corn first when I give them mixed veggies.

I still haven't built them a coop yet so they are in my house at night (thank god their is only two chicks). If she can see me near the fridge she will make all sorts of noise hoping to get some cheese.

She is fun though, I love the silkie temperment.
