won't go in coop at night

I'm sure this question is already on the site. My chicks go in and out all day long, but when I go out just before dark they are all huddled in the corner. I tried leaving the light on in the coop thinking they didn't like going into a dark coop, that failed also

My Buff Orpingtons took almost 2 weeks of me catching them EVERY night and putting them into the coop before they made the conection and put themselves to bed at night.

My Welsummers got it after 3 days...

Just be consistant, put them to bed and they will eventually get it.

Eventually one night you will go out to check on them and they will already be in bed...waiting for you.
