Adding new hens, strange behavior?

Our hens were about 1 yr and a month old, we got two more from a farm not too far away that weee 14 weeks old.
Isolated about 2 weeks, other side of fence a couple more then range together and now then been going in coop off and on, either one or both are inside or outside in run perch attached to that coop
Seems weird that they are inconsistent going in coop
and one today was in coop alone when all others were in our (picked) sweet corn field about egg laying time, is she just looking for the nest? No eggs yet from the two new
