I just got home after being gone all day and immediately checked the bator...of COURSE(!!) the temp was too high again
, weathers been hot here, and the humidity went up a little more, but that was fine.
The babies are due today and i was stressing out this morning because i had no pipps BUT i've got pippers now
, i didnt see how many but for sure one of my RSLX chicks is pipped, has a big hole so far...
i almost thought it was dead
it wasnt making any noise and it was pretty hot in there (103.7!), i left the lid off for a few seconds, adjusted and closed it back up. he squeaked at me when i picked his egg up to check..
i'm so very happy theyre actually hatching! but ima little worried they might have problems from hatching when the temp is 103.7F.
anyone know if this will hurt them? will they come out all HUGE and messed up if theres a small spike at hatch time?
i sure hope not
