WOO HOO...Valentine's surprise!

My fourth of five chickens laid her first egg today! I collected 4 eggs today! Not sure whether it was Lilith my BA or Amber my RIR but
it was definitely a darker brown than the ones the other 3 girls have been laying....plus there was a total of 4 today! One more to go!

Very cool congrats. I don't know if this will be of any help, but my RIR lays an olmost red egg it's so dark. She's a little smaller than the rest of my hens and her eggs are as well. She was my first hen to lay so I know her eggs and they are a little darker red than the others. I collected two eggs this morning, and I dropped them both. That's a first for me. They don't drop well.
