This is my first time with wood ducks and they are about to hatch. I plan to release them into the wild after. I need information about everything to care for them. I plan to make a brooder out of a storage bin and use a 150 watt bulb to heat them. Is this good? Also, I will be having 25 of them, would three different containers be good with 8 in each one? Also I am going to feed them Mazuri waterfowl feeder. Do you have to drop them to start their digestive system? All information would be helpful. Thanks!

Do not drop them! I have hatched wood ducks and you raise them like any other duck. You will have to use your judgement on totes, I have no idea how big they are or how many ducks you could safely put in them. They are tiny and adorable, but a little bit more flighty so startle easy. Good luck :jumpy
