Could not agree more! We have some wood ducks around here and it is just great to see them flying over. My ducks look jealously to the sky…
 
Wood ducks as in Mandarin unable to become friendly with humans as they are a wild duck. Believe me I tried. If you let them loose they won't come back. You just have to make them happy with a pool of water
I have the regular color mandarins in the white I'm getting a pair of ring teal and two pair of Silver's. My granddaughters enjoy them as we all do

Hi, I don't know if you saw my reply but all wood ducks are skittish you can never make them tame because they're a wild breed. The same with Canadian geese as I picked up some of the highway that didn't get run over and they never did bonds with the kids or anyone and eventually joined a flock

Hi, yes I had just gotten mine from Mallard Lane. I purchased two pair of silver and two pair apricot
