Wood Pallet Coops?

OR, you can use the space to put insulation, then top with inexpensive paneling or siding

That would be good too, if one has the money to buy the paneling or siding, lol. In my case, sadly, no. But that is a good idea.

When i get home before dark i'll take a few pictures of mine i finished this week. All made from stripped down pallets and an old shed roof. All it needs now is caulking and painting.

I just made a call duck pen with a pallet. I used it for the base, completely covered in hardware cloth, up on cinder blocks, so all the poo on the wire can just be washed away with a hose. The back half of it is all enclosed with plywood (including the floor, so they can have a bed of shavings) and all the front is wire, framed in with 1x2s, the entire front is a door (again frame and wire) and their pool (large rubber grain pan) is up front on the wire. It's just for 3 little calls, and they love it!

Cackling Hen, that is SOOOOO nice!! Really needs to be on the 'coops' page. Tell your husband he is my hero, and I'm going to try hard to make mine look like yours. Really like the rustic finish you gave it!
Now, not to be greedy, but, you wouldn't happen to have pics of the inside

Thanks so much for posting pics

That is AWESOME. It would be great to only spend $150 on a coop, lol. I found someone on CL that has some windows for about $5 per window.

Has anyone ever gotten pallets from behind Walmart? After having asked first, of course.
