Can I feed this to my 1 1/2 week old ducks? It only has 15% protein. Has anyone heard of it? I just picked up a bag from TSC but then noticed it said for feathered gamebirds, Turkey, Chickens.
It says on the label it is manufactured for PMI Nutrtional Int'l LLC in Brentwood, MO.
Would it hurt them? They currently have been eating gamebird starter (Purina) but I only have enough for today left. I stopped in TSC and grabbed this bag.
The tag says Woodland PMI Gamebird Blend

No replies? this is the list of the first few ingredients: wheat, popcorn, milo, wheat middlings, dehulled soybeans meal, cracked corn, whole corn, Canadian peas, calcium carbonate.
Anything look harmful? I'll only be feeding it to them for a week.
crude protein not less then 15%
Lysine not less then .6%
methionine nlt 30%
crude fat nlt 2.25%
crude fiber not more than 5.00%
calcium nlt .70 nmt 1.20%

Any Duck people know if this would be harmful for 1 1/2 week old ducklings for a week?

I went and got some chick starter. The pellets looked big when i opened the bag and it had whole pieces of corn and popcorn seeds. They probably would have done fine on it for a week, but thought I'd play it safe.
