woods coop interior pictures

This is my 8x12 that I built last year. Currently two roost bars made from 2x4s that span the width of the coop with nest boxes across from the man door. No poop boards just add a bag of leaves and or pine shavings every so often. No smell. Haven't cleaned out since I built it last spring although I plan to in the coming weeks since the litter is reaching its max height soon.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,, and :welcome

BTW nice coop. Could you post some more pix of the exterior as well when you get a chance.:thumbsup
Haha, that's a "New England Farm Boy". Harder to find these days.
I couldn't be happier that I built a woods coop with the help of plans from cholland. It's low maintenance, I'm out there just about every day for eggs but haven't had to clean it yet. Water every other day and food about once a week with ten hens.
Some outside pics as requested.

I just looked in my photos an apparently I don't have any of the finished interior. But I put two roost bars along the back with room for a third, at 30" high. No poop board. Nest boxes opposite the main door. I also use a kind of deep litter method. Mostly course pine flake but also oak leaves. I clean it 2 or 3 times a year. No odor except on warm winter days when I have the upper windows mostly closed. I started leaving just one open a bit more and the situation improved.
I will fluff the litter every couple of weeks with a pitch fork, otherwise the poop does build in the corners and will hold moisture.
Currently 10 birds in an 8x12.

hi
does anyone have any interior pictures of their woods coop? I will be building an 812 and would like interior ideas. I am going to try and figure out a poop board and 3 nest boxes for 12 chicks.

thanks

Here is the Woods Book and it shows the roost location however the nest boxes are shown too high in relation to the roosts.

This is my poop board for my converted shed to coop.

Here you can see I've added the roost and it's in position.
