We got the upper windows all trimmed out and plexiglass panes installed. These windows are pretty much going to remain open all summer, so for now we just have them propped open. We will probably try to think of some kind of closing mechanism for the future.
We also installed the remaining soffit that was left.

Yes, you'll need a tight closure.
Do you have to crawl onto roof to prop up windows?

Yes, but the windows have hardware cloth underneath the plexiglass. It's not like I'm climbing up there every day. That would be way too much work!

I was in the coop cleaning off the poop board today and I saw that my husband had nailed down all the edges!
