My one Golden Comet just layed 2 eggs about 1 minute apart. I was right there and seen her do it. You go girl. The good part is I was not positive til now that she was even a pullet. LOL. She has a real big droopy comb and wattles, was hoping for a pullet and she is, yeah. The first egg is perfect and a nice size, the second one has spotts on it, a wrinkle and extra calcium but it is still a beauty, it is a little smaller than the first but still a nice size.
