One of them looks pretty nice the other one? I will let you guys decide what happened to that one...

Are they fertile? Wierd first one... Oh well! It looks like someone tried to put two eggs together and came up with this!

Congrats!

yep...the egg was a double yolker and fertile...Larry, Darrel and Darrel, and Curly too, spend their days chasing the girls around...sometimes Fred the gander gets tired of watching it all and catches the boys, bops them one and sends them to their corners...never a dull moment in the duck/goose yard...

Are you keeping the double yolker? Like, are you going to try to hatch it? If you do, good luck! Sounds hard to do, from what I've read on here. But I've heard of at least one successful hatch where both ducklings survived. So crossing my fingers for you, and keep us posted!

No not hatching it...I have ducks coming out my ears now and don't need any more of them! I broke it and gave it to my ancient Doberman girl in her dinner...she will be 13 in a couple of weeks, is arthritic, a little deaf, a little blind, but still loves life...she gets eggs every day...helps her I think...
