Both boxes arrived today!
All the eggs look great, and I really appreciate the wonderful packaging (I love bubblewrap).

Grace, those SSH must be some itty-bitty birds to lay such teeny-weeny eggs. I can't wait to see them!
Kari, Is there any way to tell the RIR eggs from the Buff Orp' eggs?

I'll set them all (there were 36 eggs in all --- yaaay!) this evening and let you know how they look in about a week!

I don't know if it's true with all irds but my Orpingtons eggs are more fat and round and the RIR's are more elongated and usually lighter brown.It may just be the strain so that may not hold true.

Lisa, that's fantastic! You are getting as good results with shipped eggs so far, as I get with those eggs here
