Chickens are finally on the way, they'll be ready by 12th or 13th of May! I have reserved three Rhode Island Reds(or for you text savvy chicken owners, RIRs), One Silver laced Cochin, one Black Cochin, and one White Cochin. Mom saw pics of Silver Laced, she was all "why cant you get some of those?" so that's how I ended up with three RIRs and three Cochins instead of just six RIRs.
She doesn't even know I got one of those, hopefully it'll be a nice suprise.
My little sisters don't know when they're coming, just that there is a brooder in my bedroom and one day we'll open a box filled with soft little babies. Oh and that they each have one that is their own, which really only means they name it and love it above the rest. I do the heavy lifting!
Any have these kinds of chickens and have some breed-specific advice? I've done very little research on Cochins and so I am not as prepared for three of 'em.

Congratulations on your upcoming little fuzzy-butts.
Sounds like the "surprises" will be a whole lotta fun! You're so thoughtful.
If you want to learn a bit more about the Cochins, read the COCHIN Thread for some good info.
Good luck with your new chicks!!

Thank you so much! But I don't know about thoughtful, I call it conveniently thoughtful. I was hoping to have variety in my flock, mother opened the door. I was hoping to name my chicks(since they'll be layers/pets not food) and I had little tikes around just dying to have little teeny baby pets. But part of it is seeing the elation in their faces when they see the brooder, I can't wait to see their smiles when they're holding Chocolate Face and Chicky(as they're planning to call them).
