Thought I'd put pictures first, I can't wipe the smile off my face, I, sorry, we have successfully managed to hatch some chicks!! We set 18 lavender pekins and 10 blue laced wyandotte bantams, 9 of the wyandottes were clear or died and 4 of the pekins were too. The 18 pekins came throught the post!! So so far we have two noisy little chicks who did the perfect pip and zip, and a third currently pipped, the rest we will wait and see as they were set on the 13th march so I reckon they're due tomorrow really! Sorry for the blurry pics didn't want to open the bator. Will transfer to brooder tomorrow, they will be ok till the morning won't they? Born in the past two hours?

Congrats!!!

Hatching chicks looks like fun! I always order mine which is fun because you get to go pick them up ( a little peeping box), but hatching looks even more fun!
