WoooHOO! My 1st Sale!

Oh, I didn't see that you have just the one female. Hmm...I'd have to get her a man and some lady friends, but I'm not sure where to find them.

For some reason I was thinking you had more than that. DUH!

Kristi we have a SQ rouen drake. Or duck is just "normal" in my opinion...but....we will be penning them for breeding pretty soon and he should throw some awesome babies! If you looked on the thread with our christmas pics he is on there. I tell you he is just giant! I'm working on finding the right duck for him right now. SOOO in spring if you are interested I can send you eggs...they are less than a year old so fertility is on and off right now.

Well thats good news Kristi, Brenda sue has not been able to get in touch with the judge in Lumbertonabout the ducks but she might today. We definetly want some BR's but have to wait until some of the EE's go to Brenda's boss. Stay in touch and maybe we can share an order in the spring.

BEI : Sorry

I can refer you to where I got her from of course, it's a local breeder in Orange. Also, there are hatcheries that sell them in the spring. Let me know what you decide. If you don't want her, I will probably trade her back to him for a call duck or something, but I'd love for someone who WANTS her to have her. She does have a *tiny* bit of white so she is not SQ, btw.

ROUEN: I was just about to post a thread on SQ Rouens. I probably still will to see who else shows them. I will have to look for your post. I really want to narrow everything down to birds I can show rather than just birds to own (not to sound rude/cocky.) I show my dane and just really LOVE the commrodery/competition of it all, and would LOVE to do the same with the birds. I really don't want to incubate eggs, I am SOOO sick of that after all the BS I've had lately, but I could I guess. Either way, either we could trade off for something I have you are interested in or yes, I could just purchase some from you or something. Just let me know what you think. My guys are only 3.5 mnths old now, and they are not too social compared to the Pekins, which I don't really care for, so it would have to be something ideal.

Hi Randy,
I won't be ordering anymore BRs b/c I have 4 cockrels & 6 pullets as it is plus 7 more days olds on the way so come spring, I will be hatching my own

The 9 week olds I have are from show stock and the day olds I am waiting on a response from the seller as to wether or not he shows his. So, come Feb. hopefully my oldest girls will start laying. I do need to sell 2 of my cockrels though. I have 1 roo and he's about all my neighbor can stand

I certainly appreciate her trying to reach him for me! I know it's hard placing Pekins now, but some Spring I am sure they'll sell like pancakes.

Kristi, I'll take her later since you say there is a local breeder. I would rather get eggs or duckling from someone nearby rather than ship them through the mail. I'll have to clear out the place I want to put them and build a fence before I can have them. My last set of ducks (Pekins) got taken away by a predator, so I want to make sure they're going to be safe first. Can you send me the person's info?

His name is Kenneth Rogeau in Orange, Tx. I don't have his number, but you can look it up. He has MANY breeds of ducks, but no large breeds, except muscovy. Only thing is...he charges an arm & a leg for alot of his ducks.
