Wooohooo they are coming!

So I posted in the BST for Indian Runners in the New England area but no response. In the meantime, I spoke to my local tack & feed store about the chance of ordering just 3 runners. My first choice was blue, 2nd chocolate and black was third.

My little blue ducklings will arrive on May 11th. So excited!

Awww! Congrats on your new ducklings. I hope they get to you with no problems. Get the pool ready as they will be ready for it in no time.

The pool (water tub) will be ready to go for there arrival,however, as 3 day olds I am back to the rubbermaid container and starter.

I didn't start my last runners in the tub until the 2nd or 3rd week. Can they take a dip earlier?

Can't wait to hear that,"Wheep, wheep, wheep wheep."

I raised two for a girlfriend, along with 30 something chicks. Three of us went in on an order from Ideal.

I had such a great time raising the ducklings for the first 6 weeks that I joked that as a surrogate mother, I might not give up custody. We handled them from the day after they arrived and they were so imprinted on me that they would sit on my lap and fall asleep. The smaller of the two liked to nestle up on my neck and nibble on my ear.

I put them in the tub and after their swim I would use the hair dryer to blow dry their fluff. I am so excited to have my own.
