Thanks! I'm super chuffed! It's pretty cold, wet and miserable here at the moment so I didn't expect to see eggs for a few weeks yet

Oh how true....I stood out in the chicken pen, 'whooped' at the top of my voice, gave the girls some extra meal worms in gratitude, then texted pictures to all my family, like the eggs were a new baby!!!! Happy Chicken Lady.....and I don't even eat eggs! :lau

Fantastic!! Isn't that the best feeling? LOVE to see this, and that you're this excited---nice to know I'm not the only one. I realized that my phone has approximately five times as many pix of my chickens than of my DS. Which, seeing as though he's a teenager, is totally ok with him. :-D

Tee hee hee! I know what you mean about the phone thing....I was showing someone I work with, pictures of the new girls and their pen, their swing, their feeders, then my goats, then my alpacas, then my rabbits, then my cats, then the incubator and the eggs. She asked who was going to look after everyone when I go on holiday in June and I told her my son and daughter-in-law would be moving in to animal-sit. 'Oh a son?', she said, 'Just the one?'

'No, I have two wonderful sons,' I reply, glowing with motherly love.

'Any pics?', she says.

Not a one! I didn't have a single picture of the kids on the phone. We have spent loads of fabulous family time together recently but did I take pics? No! Just a million pics of the critters. I am such a bad mummy :hit
