my DH just called and said that a guy from work went to the auction and picked up a few dozen EE eggs and decided to hatch them well ALL of them hatched. He was not specific on how many is a few dozen but he wants to give me 1/2 the hatch for free, he does not know how to sex chicks so I dont know what I am getting I will post pics when I get them tomorrow

#2 I think this one has silkie in it cause the feet are feathered, this one is also the only one who has slate coloured feet the rest have yellow

I have just added the pics can anyone tell me what I got in this treasure box this morning?

no one???? can no one help me with what i have?...I think they were all hatched from "coloured" eggs meaning shades of green and blue

They are very cute. Since they are "chipmunks" you are going to get patterns on red or brown based, andsome silver. EE's are friendly and inquisitive as well as good layers. You won't be disappointed. looks like the don't have much beards, but that's fine too.

They are soooo cute! EE's are my favorite,..I got some this spring from a girl out of VA. She bought too many from a hatchery, lucky me! I also have three that are EE mutts. They like yours were wacky colors and little to no beard at that age. Now two of them have beards and only one has green legs. They are beautiful even when mixed with something else. They are great looking babies and have fun with them!
