An egg! An egg! A cute little brown egg! Yippee!!!!!!!!

I had a good feeling about today. Told him on the way home this morning that the girls would have an egg for me. (Of course, I say that EVERY day but whatever. lol)

I literally shrieked when I saw it sitting there all nice and pretty in the middle of the nest.

Then I came in a dragged the hubby out to see it too. Then showed it to my 16 year old son, who said (and I quote) "So?" before pulling the covers back up over his head. lol

But... I know you guys will share in my joy.

Yeay!!! We had our first 5 over the past week. It's fun!!

When my barred rock laid her first egg I went running down the farm to the cow shed to show hubby, all he could say is "couldn't you've waited til I got home?"

I was just too excited I know how you feel!!!
