I'm not sure if this is in the right section but here goes nothin!
I was cleaning out the coop yesterday, and my chickens roost on the nest box, so while I was cleaning out the nest box (Warning! Disgusting fact!) I found like a pink long thing in the pile of poo. I don't know what it was... it wasn't moving. It honestly looked like an intestine! It was NASTY! I'm wondering if its a worm or what. I wormed the big chickens in June. And the pullets/cockeral are now 19 weeks old and haven't been wormed yet. Plus the little 9 week olds haven't either. How old do they have to be to be able to be wormed? I heard that you can feed them pumpkins and it acts as a natural dewormer. Is that true?
Thanks!
