Woooorm?

Pumpkin seeds do not work as a de-wormer. They work more as a preventative, and keep the worm load in check. If a bird has visible worms in the droppings then there is a problem too significant to mess around with pumpkin seeds. dgh's post is a good discussion regarding de-worming.

I don't know about pokeberries and deworming chickens, but I do have an amusing pokeberry story. When my gpa was living he sat on a bunch of pokeberries that had got on the lawnmower seat while he was moving some debris. He said when he first sat down it stung a little, but after the whole thing his hemmroids disapeared!

However I'm not encouraging that treatment, it didn't hurt him, but don't know how safe.
