My ladies are now 21 weeks old and no eggs yet. Still waiting. What do you all use as bedding in your nesting boxes? I've tried pine shavings and straw and they keep kicking everything out of the boxes.

Doggielove: don't feel bad. My girls are 23 weeks and haven't laid yet. I got impatient and bought some laying hens and all but one have gone on strike for the last 2 weeks
I'm hoping the cooler weather will coax them back into laying. The younger girls should start laying in the next few weeks, I hope!
