Work from home with rooster noise??

Oh my goodness - from about 7am to 1pm they are all in the nesting boxes doing their thing and singing like they're competing for America's Top Singer/Model or something. I did tell the interviewer I have goats, but I did all the interviews from a cafe for this reason. Yes OK I will try the headset and the crazy chicken lady. Not sure I can insulate for less than $500-1000; their room is 12x20.
Depending on how your camper is situated next to their room, you could potentially do only the shared wall or walls. Or just insulating their room, with the pink stuff and strapping, would work to dampen the noise.

A headset mic - not as attractive as other options, but they can be quite directional. There's some decent filtering software out there as well.

Finally, you might try sound baffling not on them, but on the wall between you and the birds. But a directional mic is still your best bet, plus a "soft" surface behind you, so there is no echo/rebound from the birds.

I second a good noise canceling mic. It will cut a lot down. My husband has one, and while he is in a call with software that also cuts background noise, the combination is so good people can't even hear me talking right next to him.
can you share which brand or model he bought of the noise canceling mic and software?

The headset is logitech G-pro X gaming headset. I've used it too and it's great.

We were using discord as the call software/service but I doubt your calls will be using that, it's more of a game chat provider. It has the best background noise canceling, but even zoom does do some noise canceling.

That's interesting to know about Discord.

As a family of gamers we use it a lot (which my kids don't always appreciate it when I leave their chore lists in a chat).
