Ari frowned. "I don't think so. Maybe she will if we go wake her up. C'mon." She said in a determined voice and trotted down the hall to the girl's room. She leapt up onto the bed and meowed as she gently pawed at the girl's hand, making sure not to scratch her.

(Wait, is the owner a female, or male?)

Avery followed Ari and jumped up on the bed. He sat next to her head and pawed at her face gently. Then he let out a quiet meow.
