Worm help please??

I found small round white worms in several chicken poops today. Moving right after she pooped and then stopped. From looking at BYC I think they are tapeworms?? So I understand that I could get Zimectrin Gold equine paste.? Please any help or confirmation, thank you!! We just have 4, 1 year old chickens so I understand treat them all. No need to worry about the dog right bc he eats/licks the poo-- eew. Need to treat the yard? Sorry about all the questions! Worried about them!! Thank you!!!

Yep, they're tapeworm segments. Give all your birds a pea sized amount of zimectrin gold, then repeat again in 10 days. Insects are the host for tapeworms, chickens eat the infected insects.

So I gave the Zimectrin gold this morning. Today didn't see all the little segments in the poop like yesterday, maybe a few. Def got 2 approx 2 inch white worms. A good sign? Thanks!!
