Worm in chick poop!?

Today I found what appeared to be a little white worm in one of my 2 week old chicks poo! It was about 1/4" and the thickness of a peice of thin spaghetti. They haven't even been outside yet! I did give them some sand from my daughters sand box. Someone could have gotten a bite of dried noodle from spaghetti night...could that be possible?

it's just worms when they get about 8 weeks-2 months old worm them you can buy poultry wormier online or in the feed store but follow the instructions and throw out the eggs for one month after ward if you worm when they start laying

here are two links that should help. If other animals have access to the play sand then it's quite easily possible that it's a tape worm.

Ok, gross. The sand looked so clean Thanks for the replies! They've been getting ACV and I gave them some Chinese pumpkin seeds. I'll keep an eye on their poo and treat them for worms when they're big enough.
