Worm in chicken feather??

Found a worm in my chickens feather. Any thoughts?

Quite small and seems to be almost smashed in there. This was her bum feather, by the way. Her skin does seem a tad flakey? I checked for any other possible parasites and saw none.

Looks like an old dried up earthworm. Could've gotten smashed in to her feathers during dust bathing.

Pretty sure its just a normal earth worm. I bet she went to lay an egg or dust bathe and she smashed it and it got stuck in her feathers.
