I'm in a byc local group and this has been a debate all day with over 100 comments. I figured I'd bring it to the experts lol. These are not my pictures. Is this some sort of worm or leaked egg whites from a hole in the egg?

That is bizzare. I have never seen anything like it.
Right?!?! One person tried to recreate it and poked holes in eggs but none looked like that. They look too big and numerous to be worms, but at the same time (except for the one clump, too uniformed to be egg whites.

Oh my.
Dig it out carefully and put it on a napkin and get clear pictures please.

Who's pictures are they?

This green egg has a pin hole in the top and is split on the side.

I will say I think it is egg white. If she hasn't peeled any that one is the one I would check first. If it's missing a lot of the white then the floating stuff is whites.
